On my way back home in a cab, the time was 5:50pm.

There were hardly any taxis or buses, the few vehicles that did pass by were mostly private ones.

We could've easily cooled ourselves off with a quick dip in the ocean, but we kept on with our 2 hour journey...

This was when all 7 of us were laughing our asses off, because of what recently happened to Jeff and Lucas. They didn't join us at the house earlier but they instead dropped by to meet their significant others, where they had a run in with the girls' parents. Much chaos ensued then, and this was a source of much laughter for us. Summary, 'runs-away-fly-through-window-hide-under-boat-get-yelled-at-and-not-laid(?)'.

This is our host(Michael) in the water. He's a fellow skateboard enthusiast, and had previously met Mathew and Jeff at the local skate ramp. So when he invited us over at his place we were like, "Hell yeah!", we didn't realise that we were in for a treat. A beach side house with a pool! Oh, that's Adriel on the left about to bomb the pool and guess where Alvin is. :P

After meeting up with Mat and Adriel at Burlesque Lane, we headed off for the beach party which was a 5 minute walk from where we were. This is Adriel with the rest of us still at Burlesque Lane.

After a flurry of calls on Joseph's mobile (which was with Mat), the latter appears out of nowhere trying to assault me with his right hand. (He failed, the flash blinded him). Time check: exactly 2 hours before 2005.

Finally, contact was made, but we stayed stuck out there for a good half hour.

The force field (as seen on the top right corner) is what prevented the five of us from entering an open gate as shown above. Time check: just after 9pm, with Mat and Adriel out of sight. A sense of animosity starts running high amongst the group with me kicking myself for not bringing along some sort of portable music player.

At FJ$3.50 (or so), the ride took us well over an hour (i think), with Jeff (the only one shown) and Lucas in front of me, Joseph and Adriel, to my left, and Alvin & Mathew behind. I spent half of the travel time chatting with Alvin discussing Java, SD/SE, and other CS/IT crap.

Introduction

During the transition from 31st December 2004 to 1st January 2005, a total of over a hundred pictures was taken with the crappy digital camera that was entrusted unto me. As expected, quite a number of them came out pretty badly, mostly due to the bad lighting (most of which were taken at night after all), having a tipsy photographer (moi0) and the crappy camera itself. Despite running across a few problems, having a 'few' setbacks and other misadventures, a great time was had by all. Let's not forget Michael, who I wanna thank for putting up with us and providing us with drinks, a pool and a beach side house to stay at for the night. Thanks mate!! Finally, I wanna close off with this, "Who the hell is Greg???"
